Remington College is seeking an exceptional Construction and Building Maintenance Adjunct Instructor.

$28.00/hr - $29.00/hr

• Deliver instruction in one or more of the following areas:
  • Construction Technology
  • Building Maintenance
  • HVAC
  • Electrical/Plumbing Systems
  • Business Fundamentals (e.g., management, entrepreneurship, business operations)
• Develop or follow provided course syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
• Teach classes as assigned (day, evening, weekend, or online).
• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback through assignments, quizzes, exams, and practical evaluations.
• Maintain accurate and timely student records including attendance, grades, and progress reports.
• Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and best practices.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for a diverse student body.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration.
• Attend required faculty meetings, training sessions, or professional development events.

• High School Diploma or higher in a related field OR relevant industry certifications with significant professional experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in construction, building maintenance, business management, or a related industry.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to teach diverse learners and adapt teaching methods to varied learning styles.

• Instruction may occur in classroom settings, labs, or on-site (e.g., construction training labs).
• May involve occasional lifting, use of tools/equipment, and working in environments reflective of real-world job sites.
