Role Overview
Patient Services Representative at Signature Health, Inc. Full‑time position in Shaker Heights, OH. Salary $18–24 per hour.

Reporting to the Manager of Patient Services, the representative will conduct patient registration, maintain accurate patient information and insurance coverages in the EHR, schedule appointments, greet patients, and ensure overall excellent patient experience.
How You’ll Succeed- Demonstrate friendly, courteous, welcoming first impression to patients and families.
- Ensure accurate capture and update of registration data in the EHR.
- Schedule all services while managing provider schedules.
- Collect copayments, explain financial responsibility, refer for assistance.
- Show dependability, patience, professionalism, willingness to assist colleagues.
- Maintain reliability and punctuality.
- Verify insurance coverage, ensure accurate reflection in EHR.
- Provide administrative support: scanning, faxing, mailing.
- Demonstrate multi‑tasking and organization.
- Proficiency in Epic and other necessary platforms.
- Protect patient confidentiality, adhere to HIPAA.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- 1 year of office, customer service, or related experience (required).
- Medical office experience preferred.
- Experience in primary care or behavioral health setting preferred.
- Insurance knowledge (Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage) preferred.
- Experience working with an EHR system (required). EPIC experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel.
- Typical interior office/clinical environment.
- Standard hours, flexibility for evenings/extended hours may be required.
- Periods of sitting, standing, telephone, computer work.
- Hearing, speaking, vision adequate for duties.
- Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs.
- Exposure to blood borne pathogens possible.
- Repetitive bending, reaching, hand movements, standing, walking, squatting, sitting with regular exertion.
- Dexterity to operate PC and equipment.
