Detail-Oriented Bookkeeper in BC

Join Conteco Manufacturing as a Detail-Oriented Bookkeeper, responsible for key financial tasks in a dynamic manufacturing setting. This on-site role focuses on accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork in financial management.

As a Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant, you will manage financial records and contribute to operational workflows. Your day-to-day responsibilities include processing journal entries, maintaining accounts payable and receivable, and preparing payroll remittances. Familiarity with Sage Accounting Pro and customs documentation will enhance your contribution to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable accurately

• Complete bank and credit card reconciliations monthly

• Prepare payroll and file necessary T4 slips

• Maintain General Ledger with precise cost allocations

• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes

Requirements:

• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

• Proficiency in Sage 50 Accounting Pro

• Strong understanding of AP/AR and month-end processes

• Advanced Excel skills and organized approach

• Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment
