Position: City Information Coordinator
Drive effective information management as the Information & Privacy Coordinator at the City of Maple Ridge. This role emphasizes critical thinking, strong communication, and adherence to privacy regulations.

As part of the Police Services department, you will handle requests for information under the Access to Information and Privacy Act. The successful candidate will have exceptional analytical abilities, customer service proficiency, and a solid understanding of privacy legislation. Balancing prompt resolutions with in-depth analysis is critical to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage information requests expertly under privacy laws

• Apply relevant RCMP policies in decision-making processes

• Foster effective relationships with various stakeholders

• Prepare essential documentation for information requests

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and propose solutions

Requirements:

• Grade 12 completion with FOI training preferred

• Considerable related experience in a similar role

• Knowledge of business English and office protocols

• Strong ability to work under pressure

• Tactfulness in handling sensitive matters
