Position: Family Services Assistant - Summer Role

Funded through the Canada Summer Jobs program, this role is ideal for individuals 16-30 years old. Responsibilities include assisting with events, providing information to visitors, and supporting administrative tasks in community settings. Your contribution will be key to helping those in need while developing essential skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team for community service tasks

• Assist in public relations and events as needed

• Maintain confidentiality for all program participant data

• Support basic administrative functions and reception

• Help organize activities and keep lesson areas clean

Requirements:

• Must be between 16-30 years at employment start

• Willingness to understand The Salvation Army's mission

• Up to two years of relevant experience preferred

• Good communication skills with diverse community members

• CPR and First Aid training completion upon hiring
