Utility Construction Project Coordinator

Coordinate underground utility installations with Aecon Technical Solutions in Pitt Meadows, Edmonton, or Calgary, using scheduling, inspections, and inventory skills.
As Project Coordinator, you will support the Project Manager across telecommunications infrastructure operations. The work includes coordinating crews, reviewing sites, managing materials, tracking compliance, and collaborating with CAD technicians, designers, vendors, and internal teams. Your coordination helps support efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule and coordinate work crews for operational efficiency
Perform site reviews and meet utilities personnel onsite
Manage inventory systems, materials, and tooling procurement
Track safety, environmental, and quality requirements
Analyze operational data and report findings
Requirements:
Recent Civil or Construction Technology college graduate
Utility or telecommunications construction experience is an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project
Strong verbal, written, and organizational abilities
Valid driver’s license and schedule flexibility
Support Aecon telecommunications infrastructure projects through organized coordination, site reviews, inventory control, and operational reporting.
