At The ACT Arts Centre, we're searching for skilled Technicians to help with performances and community events. This role requires expertise in lighting, audio, staging, and event setup, coupled with teamwork and communication skills. You'll find yourself in a dynamic environment, supporting live events and ensuring that all technical aspects run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage load-ins and load-outs for events

• Operate and maintain lighting, audio, and staging equipment

• Adjust and focus lighting fixtures for shows

• Troubleshoot technical issues during live events

• Ensure all equipment is organized and safe to use

Requirements:

• Experience with theatrical lighting and sound systems

• Knowledge of ETC Eos and Di Gi Co  Consoles

• Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights
