Join Discovery Community College as an HCA Instructor to influence nursing education. This part-time position balances classroom and online learning from Tuesday to Friday.

Discovery Community College invites applications for the HCA Instructor role starting on June 23, 2026. You will mentor students while ensuring compliance with educational standards. This position combines in-person classes on Mondays with online instruction for the rest of the week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate student engagement in learning activities

• Monitor compliance with accreditation and program standards

• Maintain student records accurately and diligently

• Deploy lesson plans in accordance with PTIRU

• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback

Requirements:

• Minimum 2,800 hours nursing experience needed

• Valid BCCNM registration as LPN, RN, or RDPN mandatory

• Previous teaching experience is advantageous

• Familiarity with Office 365 and Student Information Systems is a plus

• Strong communication and adaptability in teaching required
