Become a French Coordinator (0.2 FTE) in the Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows School District and lead important K-12 French programs. Your expertise will enrich student language acquisition and cultural awareness.

As the French Coordinator, you will play a vital role in guiding French Immersion and French as a Second Language initiatives. Your responsibilities include overseeing the program framework, managing funding allocations, and collaborating with educators to strengthen instructional practices and improve student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor K-12 French educational programs

• Manage and report on OLEP funding allocations

• Oversee professional learning for French teachers

• Coordinate the DELF program and ensure best practices

• Promote Francophone cultural partnerships in education

Requirements:

• Preference for a Master’s degree in Education

• BC Teaching Certificate required

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English

• Leadership experience in K-12 education

• Understanding of second language acquisition practices
