TTOC Positions Schools

Join School District No. 42 as a Teachers Teaching On Call (TTOC) and support educational excellence in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. This role includes a commitment to a minimum of 90 teaching shifts.

SD42 is dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of around 17,000 students by offering extensive K-12 educational services. As a TTOC, you will play an essential role in classrooms throughout the district while providing inclusive learning opportunities. Candidates must have a Bachelor of Education alongside recent teaching practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill in for absent teachers across multiple grade levels

• Foster inclusive learning environments for all students

• Collaborate with staff to ensure continuity of education

• Attend training workshops to enhance teaching skills

• Adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs

Requirements:

• Completed Bachelor of Education degree

• Contract or student teaching experience required

• Must hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and TQS card

• Eligible for membership in the Teacher Regulation Branch

• Availability for at least 90 shifts in the school year
