Position: Occupational Therapy Role in Education
Be part of the Learning Services Team as a temporary Occupational Therapist at School District No. 42, effective September 1, 2026. This role targets student development in an educational setting.

As a 0.8 FTE Occupational Therapist, you will address the needs of students with various challenges through assessments and tailored program planning. Collaboration with educational staff and other professionals ensures comprehensive support for each student. Training school staff will also enhance therapeutic practices across the district.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop students’ skills for optimal school engagement

• Conduct assessments and consultations

• Support equipment adaptation for therapy

• Collaborate and consult with educational staff

• Deliver staff training and coordinate external support

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy

• Registration eligibility with College of Occupational Therapists of BC

Contribute to a supportive educational atmosphere and enhance student growth through your occupational therapy expertise in School District No. 42.
