SD42 is hiring French and French Immersion teachers for TTOC positions. Candidates should have training in French Immersion education and fluency in French. This role requires teaching a minimum of 90 shifts throughout the school year, ensuring continuity in student language learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate French Immersion language instruction

• Develop tailored lesson plans for diverse learners

• Monitor and record student progress

• Maintain communication with parents and school staff

• Support the district’s educational objectives and initiatives

Requirements:

• Training in teaching French Immersion

• Fluent proficiency in spoken and written French

• Completed education degree with relevant courses

• Eligible for Teacher Regulation Branch membership

• Valid BC Teaching Certificate and TQS card
