Early Childhood Education Instructor Position

Western Community College is seeking an Early Childhood Educator Assistant Program Instructor for a fixed-term contract in Maple Ridge. Contribute to shaping future educators in an engaging classroom environment.

This role focuses on teaching ECEA courses with scheduled assessments and collaboration with faculty. Your responsibilities include revising syllabi based on feedback, advising prospective students, and ensuring timely grading. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach ECEA courses and manage assignments

• Post grades confidentially on the College database

• Collaborate with faculty for course improvements

• Advise potential students on enrollment pathways

• Assist in developing program-related handbooks

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and 2 years experience

• Ten years of experience in Early Childhood field accepted

• ECE Registry membership in good standing

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and LMS tools

• Commitment to the ECEBC Code of Ethics
