Responsibilities
  • Help design the electrical systems associated with projects.
  • Responsible for the function and safety of the electrical systems associated with their project(s).
  • Work with other members of a multi‑disciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with global teams on projects.
  • Assist in the development of the scope of assigned projects.
  • Aid in any other electrical design work done as part of assigned projects.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation: circuit diagrams, schematics, reports, drawing packages, simulations, etc.; identify opportunities for processes and design improvement/optimization; plan for and execute testing and commissioning of the systems created as part of assigned projects.
  • Help with the integration of various systems, ensuring compatibility, efficiency, and reliability across the entire system.
Your Profile
  • Engineering degree, diploma, or similar.
  • In‑depth knowledge of integrating battery systems, electric drive trains, power electronics, thermal management and other components to create a fully functional system.
  • Knowledge of various communication protocols such as CAN and Ethernet.
  • In‑depth understanding of Electrical engineering principles.
  • Good understanding of hardware and software systems simulations using tools such as MATLAB, Simulink.
  • Good understanding of functional safety.
  • Strong mathematical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • A good understanding of programming logic and how it controls mechatronic systems.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Logical and methodical approach to problem‑solving.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Friendly disposition, works well with people of various backgrounds, skillsets, demeanors, and positions.
  • Ability and desire to push the boundaries of themselves and our industry on a daily basis.
  • Ability to perform general assembly and wiring.
