The City of Maple Ridge is seeking a knowledgeable Project Engineer in the Engineering Design and Construction Division. You’ll manage municipal infrastructure projects, particularly in water and drainage utilities, overseeing the full project lifecycle including design, construction, and handoff.

Your role will involve coordinating teams and maintaining project scope, schedule, and budget for successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex municipal infrastructure projects from design to construction

• Oversee engineering designs, drawings, and specifications

• Ensure construction activities meet safety and environmental standards

• Develop project schedules and manage key deliverables

• Control project budgets and manage risks effectively

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering or similar

• Minimum 5 years in design and construction engineering

• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligible

• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License

• Strong understanding of municipal bylaws and regulations
