Municipal Project Engineer

Join the City of Maple Ridge as a Project Engineer dedicated to municipal development.

Your role will involve leading design and construction for vital community infrastructure.

In this regular full-time position, you will be pivotal in managing the lifecycle of municipal projects, focusing on water, sewer, and drainage utilities. Reporting directly to the Manager of Engineering Design and Construction, your responsibilities will encompass the preparation of engineering designs, contractor coordination, and quality assurance in construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage municipal infrastructure project timelines

• Review and prepare engineering designs and drawings

• Ensure construction adherence to municipal standards

• Track key deliverables to meet project milestones

• Prepare RFPs and evaluate contractor bids

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• At least 5 years of engineering experience

• Eligible for Professional Engineer registration

• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License
