The City of Maple Ridge is seeking a dedicated Engineering Inspector
2. This position requires proficiency in reviewing plans, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with municipal safety standards. Strong communication skills are crucial to address public inquiries and work collaboratively with contractors and utility firms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review construction plans for accuracy and compliance

• Conduct inspections on various public infrastructure projects

• Identify and mitigate safety hazards and workmanship issues

• Prepare tender documents along with detailed cost estimates

• Respond to public inquiries regarding municipal policies

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering from an accredited institution

• Experience in municipal engineering or a related field

• Licensed with the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License in British Columbia

• Understanding of municipal design and engineering standards
