Join the City of Maple Ridge as an Engineering Inspector 2 in a regular full time position. This role demands both fieldwork and technical expertise as you oversee construction, review plans, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Robust communication skills are essential for resolving public inquiries and collaborating with contractors and utility companies.

Key Responsibilities   Review construction plans for technical accuracy and compliance
Conduct inspections of public infrastructure projects
Identify and resolve safety hazards or workmanship issues
Prepare tender documents and cost estimates
Respond to public inquiries regarding municipal policies
Requirements   Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution
Experience in municipal engineering or related fields
Licensed with Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License in British Columbia
Knowledge of municipal design and engineering standards
Contribute your expertise in engineering, inspection, and public service to enhance Maple Ridge's municipal projects.
