As part of the Legislative Services, you will apply your expertise in records management to streamline department records into the corporate system. This role covers vital areas including classification, retention schedules, archives management, and compliance, making an impact on organizational efficiency. You'll collaborate with various departments, providing invaluable advice while creating training materials and leading sessions to empower staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead integration of departmental records into corporate management system
• Ensure compliance with records retention requirements
• Analyze records security and access reports
• Create training materials and user guides for staff
• Support transfer of records to archives
Requirements:
• Grade 12 and records management certificate or equivalent experience
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License in British Columbia
• Strong understanding of information management principles
• Knowledge of Freedom of Information and privacy regulations
• Ability to advise and train on records management practices
Use your organizational skills and knowledge to support the City of Maple Ridge's records management efforts.
