Steer the records management efforts at the City of Maple Ridge as their Records Coordinator. This full-time position seeks individuals keen on organizing and ensuring the security of vital information.
In this key role, you will facilitate the integration of records into the corporate system and support compliance with retention regulations. Your responsibilities will include advising departments on proper records classification and retention, creating training resources, and assisting with archival transfers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead department records integration into the corporate system
• Review and recommend retention schedules and classification
• Analyze records management reports for security compliance
• Deliver targeted training sessions to departmental staff
• Manage and track records through their lifecycle
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and records management certification
• In-depth knowledge of records management principles
• Ability to conduct effective training and support staff
• Competence in creating instructional materials
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License in British Columbia
