As a Records Management Specialist, you will help transform complex records systems into easily navigable structures. This role requires close collaboration with departments to ensure secure and compliant handling of information throughout its lifecycle. Your expertise will empower staff in utilizing records management tools effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Integrate and maintain departmental records
• Advise on compliance and records retention
• Create and deliver records management training materials
• Manage archival records and their lifecycle
• Prepare documents for Freedom of Information requests
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education and records management certification
• Class 5 Driver’s License verified in British Columbia
• Familiarity with information governance principles
• Relevant work experience in records management
• Ability to handle physical tasks and work independently
