Education leader Salon​/Stylist

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Education Leader Salon/Stylist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a licensed stylist with a flair for teaching and mentoring others. The Education Leader will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions, fostering a positive learning environment, and inspiring future beauty professionals. Candidates should possess classroom experience and a strong background in teaching, along with a commitment to professional development and excellence in the beauty industry.

• Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for students and staff on various salon techniques and industry standards
• Develop and update educational materials, including curricula, manuals, and visual aids
• Mentor students and junior stylists to enhance their skills and confidence
• Evaluate student progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with management to identify training needs and implement effective educational programs
• Maintain a professional learning environment that encourages creativity, growth, and teamwork
• Stay current with industry trends, products, and best practices to ensure training content remains relevant and innovative

• Proven classroom experience in a salon or educational setting
• Strong teaching abilities with excellent communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of hair styling, cutting, coloring, and other salon services
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of diverse backgrounds
• Organizational skills to develop structured lesson plans and training schedules
• Passion for education and continuous learning within the beauty industry
• Professional licensure as a stylist or cosmetologist is required
