Collects and distributes a variety of patient care items and equipment; unloads supplies and equipment and distributes to designated locations; tops up supplies in patient care areas; unloads tote bins; replaces supply containers; receives and unloads items and supplies from stores.
Responsibilities- Collects and distributes a variety of patient care items and equipment requiring high level disinfection/sterilization (ie sterile trays, instruments) from assigned patient care areas.
- Orders, receives and unloads Medical Device Reprocessing supplies; unloads instruments from washer/disinfectors and distributes them to the appropriate prep and pack workstations.
- Fills requisitions by picking, assembling and delivering supplies/goods.
- Performs physical inventory counts; rotates stock and checks for expiry date; completes related forms and maintains records.
- Receives items and supplies from stores; unloads and stores in appropriate location.
- Transports stock and materials to all areas of the facility/site including patient bedside in assigned patient care areas.
- Keeps assigned area and goods/supplies in a clean and tidy condition.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Education, Training and Experience
Grade 10 with six months' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
