Position: Booking Clerk for Medical Imaging

Support patient scheduling at Ridge Meadows Hospital as a Casual Booking Clerk in the Medical Imaging department. This role entails arranging and confirming appointments to enhance patient experiences.

Candidates should have Grade 12 education and a minimum of two years of recent related experience. The position involves direct interaction with patients and practitioners, requiring strong verbal and written communication skills. Your organizational skills will be vital in managing the flow of appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and confirm appointments for patients effectively

• Organize daycare beds for scheduled procedures

• Complete pre-registration processes accurately

• Gather necessary patient records and images for examinations

• Maintain appointment records and facilitate communications

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education and a minimum of two years of related experience

• Ability to type at 40 wpm or more

• Familiarity with medical terminology and patient processing

• Proven organizational and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in clerical operations and systems
