Responsibilities and Duties

Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and provide companionship and personal care.

Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.

Help clients with their ADL’s (Activities and Daily Living) as outlined by the Care Designer.

Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.

Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.

Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge while practicing safely and properly.

Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly using an online app

Requirements

Able to work multiple shifts of 2 - 8 hours per shift daily, and in at least TWO OF THE FOLLOWING CITIES: COQUITLAM, PORT COQUITLAM, PITT MEADOWS, MAPLE RIDGE OR MISSION.

6 Months full time caregiving experience (or equivalent)

Internationally Educated Nurses with personal care experience are welcome to apply.

Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.

Must be fluent in both verbal and written English. Other languages will be an asset.

Background or Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search within the last 12 months (updated every 5 years for continued employment)

Negative TB test within the last 2 years (updated every 5 years for continued employment)

Reliable vehicle and class 5 driver’s license strongly preferred, must be willing to drive clients when needed (kilometers are reimbursed when driving a client)

Double Covid-19 vaccination required.
