Health Care Aide Career at AgeCare

Become a Health Care Aide with Age Care and support our seniors with dignity and respect. This position is centered on providing personal care and ensuring a safe environment.

In this role, you’ll support residents' needs while adhering to the principles of safety and ethics under the supervision of Community Care RN Case Managers. Your engagement with clients and their families will be key in addressing concerns, ensuring a clean environment, and collaborating with other service agencies to enhance resident well-being. Continuous training will be integral for skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to and address resident concerns effectively

• Maintain equipment and ensure a clean living environment

• Report safety and health concerns to the supervising authority

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams

• Attend training to enhance knowledge and skills

Requirements:

• Completion of a Health Care Aide certification course

• Experience in community health service settings

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certifications preferred

• Willingness to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
