Position: 0.4 FTE Speech Language Pathologist Role
Contribute to student communication development as a Speech Language Pathologist at Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows School District. This 0.4 FTE role is integral to supporting diverse learning needs.

The SD42 school district is hiring a qualified Speech Language Pathologist for a continuing position starting on September 1, 2026. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams to meet students’ communication needs, including those with autism spectrum disorders. Responsibilities involve assessment, intervention, and the design of tailored communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with educators and families to support students

• Assess students with communication challenges

• Design and implement strategies for AAC systems

• Provide effective guidance and support to staff

• Maintain effective communication with multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Membership with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
