Speech Language Pathologist at Ridge Meadows

Ridge Meadows Hospital seeks a dedicated Relief Part Time Speech Language Pathologist in Maple Ridge, B.C. Provide valuable speech and dysphagia interventions within a collaborative healthcare environment.

In this role, you’ll assess communication and swallowing needs of patients while developing evidence-based treatment plans. You will work closely with caregivers and interprofessional teams to ensure quality, patient-centered care. Additionally, you will have opportunities to engage in research and program improvement initiatives, enhancing both your skills and the services offered at the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient’s communication and swallowing abilities

• Formulate and implement personalized treatment strategies

• Educate patients and their families on health management

• Participate in interprofessional care planning

• Monitor and record treatment effectiveness

Requirements:

• Current College of Health and Care Professionals of BC registration

• In-depth knowledge of speech pathology practices

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work autonomously and in teams
