Radiologist - Ridge Meadows Hospital

Job Summary
The Department of Medical Imaging at Ridge Meadows Hospital is seeking radiologists to join our vibrant and growing community practice, supporting a new MRI service and expanding existing modalities. Maple Ridge is one of the fastest growing communities in British Columbia, offering natural surroundings, outdoor activities, a diverse population, and excellent access to downtown Vancouver. Ridge Meadows Hospital is part of the Fraser Health Authority, provides 157 acute care beds, and receives over 43,000 emergency department visits annually.

Responsibilities
Time required:
Negotiable. Call responsibilities are split amongst group members. Final date to receive applications:
Rolling applications accepted. Daily duties include radiography, fluoroscopy, general ultrasound, diagnostic breast imaging, musculoskeletal ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and a variety of image‑guided procedures. Equipment currently includes two dedicated DR radiography units, a Toshiba fixed‑fluoroscopy C‑arm unit, a GE portable ultrasound unit, four GE fully equipped clinical ultrasound units, a GE 64‑slice CT scanner, and a new GE 1.5T MRI unit that entered service in Fall 2020.

The department is one of only two early‑adoption sites for GE’s AIR Recon Deep Learning image reconstruction software. The group emphasizes evidence‑based practice, quality, strong communication, a collegial work environment, and scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will be comfortable with general radiography and ultrasound, breast imaging, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and basic interventional procedures. Eligibility for licensure by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia is required. Fellowship, particularly in MRI or neuroimaging, would be an asset. Interested individuals may apply and upload their CV.
