Personal Support Worker

Become a Personal Support Worker for a private employer in Maple Ridge, BC, providing essential daily living assistance to a woman with quadriplegia.

Your role will encompass personal care including toileting, meal prep, and driving.

We are actively hiring an experienced and compassionate caregiver to start immediately. This position offers shifts on Sundays and Mondays from either 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM or 2:00 PM, with potential for additional hours later. You'll be responsible for personal care tasks, assisting with household duties, and facilitating outings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of personal care, including toileting

• Conduct one-person transfers using an overhead lift

• Drive to appointments and assist with outings

• Prepare meals according to dietary needs

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the home

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license preferred

• Experience in personal care and quadriplegic support

• Comfortable working alongside animals

• RCA or related certification preferred

• Must be physically fit for lifting and bending
