Personal Support Assistant in Care Services

As a Personal Support Assistant, you will work under the guidance of the Director of Care to deliver one-on-one care tailored to residents' needs. Your responsibilities will include safe lifts and transfers, assisting residents with daily tasks, and fostering a comforting environment. You'll also engage in interdisciplinary meetings and maintain a clean, safe space according to health protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one personal care to residents

• Assist with safe lifting and transfers of individuals

• Guide residents to activities and dining areas

• Act as a companion and provide emotional support

• Participate in care assessment and planning meetings

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Enrolled in a Personal Support Worker program

• Experience with seniors preferred

• Strong communication and empathy skills

• Commitment to a service-driven environment
