Personal Support Assistant at AgeCare Holyrood

Become a valued Personal Support Assistant at Age Care Holyrood in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. This part-time role focuses on senior care, personal assistance, and providing a warm atmosphere for residents.

In this position, you will report to the Director of Care, assisting with nursing and personal care tasks according to each resident’s care plan. Your responsibilities will include guiding residents, supporting their comfort, and participating in interdisciplinary meetings. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one personal care to residents

• Assist with safe lifts and transfers of residents

• Guide residents to and from recreational activities

• Support feeding while following safety protocols

• Participate in orientation for new residents and staff

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required

• Experience in community health services preferred

• Enrollment in Personal Support Worker program preferred

• Strong communication and empathetic skills

• Desire to work in a service-oriented environment
