Caregiver; Personal Support Worker - MRDD

We are actively recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to assist a private female employer with Quadriplegia in all activities of daily living.

Location:

• Maple Ridge, BC (Near Valley Fair Mall)

• $25.00 an hour

• Sunday and Monday
• 9:00am to 1:30pm OR 2:00pm
• Possibility of more shifts in the future

• All aspects of personal care including toileting and bowel care
• One person transfers using an overhead lift
• Driving to appointments and occasional outings
• Meal preparation
• Household duties and cleaning

• Driver's License is preferred
• Qualified Caregiver or experience with personal care and quadriplegic care
• Must be comfortable working in an environment with animals
• RCA or related Certification preferred
• Must show a keen willingness to learn
• Must undergo a Criminal Record Check
• Must be physically fit and able to perform duties such as bending and lifting
• Comfort driving a wheelchair accessible van when needed

Pay: $25.00 per hour
