Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows Speech Language Pathologist

Help support student communication as a part-time Speech Language Pathologist in the Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows School District. This role focuses on assessment and intervention strategies.

Starting September 1, 2026, SD42 is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist for a 0.4 FTE continuing position. You will work collaboratively with school teams and families to support students with varying communication challenges, including autism spectrum disorders.

Your role will include implementing alternative communication strategies while guiding staff and families in effective interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with school teams for effective student communication

• Assess and provide interventions for communication challenges

• Design and implement augmentative communication strategies

• Offer support and guidance to families and educators

• Maintain open communication with multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Membership in the College of Health and Care Professionals
