The Speech Language Pathologist position within SD42 offers an exciting opportunity to work within a vibrant educational community in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. In this role, you’ll assess and implement strategies tailored to students' communication challenges, including autism spectrum disorders. You will collaborate closely with teams and families, providing effective communication solutions across both elementary and secondary settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with school teams and families on communication needs

• Assess students with a range of communication challenges

• Develop strategies for augmentative and alternative communication

• Guide staff and families on effective communication interventions

• Maintain strong collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Membership with the College of Health and Care Professionals
