Position: Counsellor for Individualized Supports Role
Be a vital part of Community Living Society in Maple Ridge as a Counsellor for Individualized Supports. This full-time position is focused on engaging individuals and fostering independence.

As a Community Living Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities. Your efforts will help them thrive in their personal lives through tailored support. You'll assist with daily living needs, community activities, and record-keeping to track their progress toward independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support for achieving individual life goals

• Assist in personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

• Plan and supervise community outings and activities

• Document daily activities and progress towards goals

• Engage individuals to enhance their independence skills

Requirements:

• Class 5 or Class 7N driver’s license required

• Access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel

• First Aid and CPR certification

• Must pass a criminal record check

• Knowledge of person-centered support methods a plus
