Join the Population & Public Health team as a Casual Audiometric Technician. Engage in audiometric testing, community screenings, and client education.
This role is ideal for someone with a diploma in health or social services and experience conducting audiometric assessments. You will support audiologists, liaise with community partners, and ensure high-quality care for clients across multiple settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform various audiometric screenings and tests
• Assist in evaluating hearing for children with challenges
• Coordinate screening logistics within communities
• Educate clients about audiology services
• Troubleshoot auditory equipment when necessary
Requirements:
• Diploma in health or social services related field
• Minimum one year relevant experience
• Must hold a valid Class V B.C. Driver's License
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in general office tasks
