Optical Expert

Position: Optical Expert at FYihealth Group
Join us as an Optician at FYihealth Group's Solis Optics in Maple Ridge. This part time position focuses on exceptional customer service in the optical industry while supporting diverse eyewear needs.

In this role, scheduled for 20-29 hours weekly, you will actively engage with customers to provide educational opportunities regarding eyewear options. You will interpret optical prescriptions, ensure proper fitting through measurements, and assist with contact lens fittings. Your responsibilities will further include handling billing for patients and managing store operations daily.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service tailored to eyewear

• Interpret prescriptions and execute measurements

• Facilitate contact lens fittings and orders

• Manage payments and billing for clients

• Assist in the smooth operation of daily store functions

Requirements:

• At least one year experience in optics

• Must be a Registered Optician in British Columbia

• Proficient with technology, including MS Office

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Proactive and adaptable in dynamic environments
