School Psychologist at SD42

Join School District No. 42 as a School Psychologist, focusing on student learning support and behavioral strategies. This full-time, continuing role begins on September 1, 2026.

In this position, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement evidence-based interventions tailored for student growth. Assessments, data collection, and clear communication of results are crucial to enhancing the educational experience for approximately 17,000 students across Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with staff to gather and analyze classroom data

• Design evidence-based interventions for learning and behavior

• Administer Level C assessments and interpret results

• Communicate findings and recommendations to teams and families

• Contribute to multidisciplinary planning and decision-making

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in school psychology or related field

• Must meet British Columbia Association of School Psychologists standards
