Engaging Community Support Worker Needed

Become a vital part of our Community Living Support program as a full-time Community Support Worker. Focus on empowering individuals with mental health challenges to realize their potential.

In this rewarding full-time position, you will provide direct support to clients struggling with severe mental health issues.

Your role encompasses life skills training, advocacy, and liaising with community services. Moreover, you will help clients develop self-care strategies and access the resources needed for independent living, all while reporting progress to the clients' Primary Therapists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate life skills development for clients

• Assist clients in navigating community services

• Support clients in securing stable living accommodations

• Help clients cope in various daily environments

• Provide updates for case conferencing needs

Requirements:

• Two-year diploma or degree in social services

• Minimum one year relevant experience

• Knowledge of mental health rehabilitation practices

• Criminal Record Check required

• Strong driving credentials with a Class 5 BC License
