Under the supervision of the Community Inclusion & Outreach Manager, this role advocates for a person-centered, culturally respectful approach. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Community Living B.C. and maintain professional relationships with individuals and their support networks, focusing on their wellbeing and community belonging.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support individuals’ involvement in personal choices and decisions
• Document and manage cases with Community Inclusion Coordinator
• Develop supportive and nurturing professional relationships
• Assist with activities of daily living and community participation
• Ensure effective communication on service needs and appointments
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years of relevant support experience
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle
