In this role, you'll assist in delivering social and recreational programs tailored for long-term care residents. You'll work directly with residents to conduct individual and group activities, take part in community outings, and offer valuable feedback during program planning. Collaboration with the Recreation Therapist will be essential as you help shape enjoyable experiences while guiding volunteers and organizing necessary materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute a variety of recreational activities for residents

• Collaborate in planning meetings, providing insights on activities

• Support residents during outings and events in the community

• Prepare materials for programs and restock supplies as needed

• Oversee documentation related to resident spending on outings

Requirements:

• High school diploma with completion of recreational courses

• Two years of recent experience or a related educational background

• Food Safe Certification 1 required

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to perform physical aspects of the role
