Part-Time Occupational Therapist

Join PLEA Community Services as a Regular Part-Time Occupational Therapist, providing essential support to clients in Maple Ridge and Abbotsford. Utilize your expertise in therapy to develop and implement impactful programs tailored to individual needs.

In this role, you will assess and address both physical and developmental challenges faced by clients. The successful candidate will employ a variety of therapeutic methods, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive care designed to improve their overall functioning. Flexibility in your working hours allows you to cater to client needs while fostering effective familial collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess client capabilities using occupational therapy techniques

• Plan tailored programs to enhance physical and emotional health

• Implement creative therapy activities and monitor client progress

• Provide individualized and group therapy support

• Document therapy sessions and collaborate with healthcare providers

Requirements:

• Master’s in Occupational Therapy

• Registration with the BC College of Health and Care Professionals

• Two years of relevant experience

• Driving license and access to a vehicle

• Basic First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
