SD42, requiring a Speech and Language Pathologist for a 0.4 FTE continuing position, invites applications starting September 1, 2026. This role focuses on assessing and addressing communication needs of approximately 17,000 students, with particular attention to those requiring augmentative communication systems and support for autism spectrum disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with school teams for effective communication support

• Assess and implement interventions for diverse communication needs

• Guide the development of communication strategies

• Support families and staff on speech interventions

• Build collaborative relationships within multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Membership with the College of Health and Care Professionals
