Position: Recreation Aide at AgeCare Holyrood
Engage with residents as a Recreation Aide at Age Care Holyrood in Maple Ridge, BC. Lead engaging recreation programs to enhance residents' well-being and social connections.

As a vital member of our team, the Recreation Aide is responsible for assessing and implementing recreational programs aligned with residents' needs. This casual position supports collaboration with the Recreation Manager and Executive Director to create an inclusive and active environment.

Your role includes documenting resident participation and facilitating community outings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate resident-centered recreation programs

• Maintain accurate documentation of participant activities

• Build positive relationships with residents and families

• Support resident assessments and program evaluations

• Facilitate participation in scheduled activities and outings

Requirements:

• Diploma in Recreation, Gerontology, or related field

• Experience working with seniors in recreational settings

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Valid driver's license for transporting residents
