Support clean, comfortable residences as a Part-Time Day Housekeeper with Cogir Senior Living, using sanitation methods and floor-care equipment.
This Housekeeping Aide cleans resident apartments and common areas in retirement residences offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care. The work focuses on cleaning, sanitization, resident respect, and safe practices. Two Part-Time Day Housekeepers are currently being hired.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean assigned areas using approved sanitation methods
- Clean apartments, common areas, fixtures, walls, ceilings, lights, vents, and windows
- Operate floor-care machines and steam-cleaning equipment
- Strip, scrub, spray, and buff floor surfaces
- Transport garbage to designated areas
- Good oral and written English communication skills
- Knowledge of standard institutional cleaning techniques
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to meet physical job requirements
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
