Ideal for physically fit candidates, the role involves extensive cleaning, maintaining cheese caves, and churning butter. You’ll be a vital part of a small, close-knit team dedicated to local and sustainable food practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production areas

• Adhere to food safety protocols consistently

• Maintain cheese wheels during the aging process

• Conduct daily cheese inventory checks

• Churn butter using traditional methods

Requirements:

• Physically fit with lifting capability of 50 lbs

• Experience in physical labor environments

• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities

• GED/Dogwood certification required

• Interest in local food systems and sustainability
