Machinist

Job Overview  As a Red Seal Machinist, you will be essential in the precision manufacturing process, utilizing your expertise in blueprint reading and machining to produce high‑quality components.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will operate CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards. Your core skills in basic math and calipers, combined with premium skills in CNC programming and Solid Works, will enhance your ability to tackle complex projects. With a focus on lean manufacturing and assembly, you will contribute to the efficiency and success of our operation.
The position involves both manual and CNC programming using Master Cam to run Wele VTC 2016 and Femco BMC 135 HBM machines. Shifts are Friday to Sunday 3am – 12pm, paid for 4 days.
Responsibilities   Operate CNC lathes and milling machines.
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Perform precision measurements using calipers.
Program and run CNC machines with Master Cam and Solid Works.
Maintain safety standards and lean manufacturing practices.
Qualifications & Requirements   AEC/DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required).
Journeyperson experience of 5 years (required).
Fluency in English (required).
