We are currently looking for a Fabrication Technician to join our team at our Shop in Maple Ridge on our night shift.

Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Fabrication Leadhand, the Fabrication Technician will work within the shop team to fulfill fabrication orders from various projects.
- Act as a member of the shop fabrication team
- Produce assemblies within an assigned area of the shop
- Maintain quality workmanship under tight timelines and production schedules
- Conduct themselves in a safe and responsible manner around equipment and tools
- Maintain tools and equipment as required
- Take part in a lean manufacturing culture
- Use various machinery to cut, thread, groove, and bevel steel pipe.
- Assemble and bundle pipe orders
- Cut and prep structural steel.
- Perform other duties as required.

- Previous experience in metal or piping fabrication would be considered a strong asset.
- Previous construction experience would be considered an asset.
- Mechanical inclination is considered an asset.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with personnel of other departments.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing and orally.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products and other computer software would be considered an asset.

Compensation: $25.75 to $36.50/hour + 5% RRSP + Full Health & Dental Benefits (100% company-paid) + LTD + Life Insurance + AD&D
