This role calls for skilled Registered Nurses who are aligning with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) standards. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and facilitate discharge planning for pediatric patients. Prior experience in clinical nursing or relevant postgraduate coursework is essential to succeed in this impactful position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of pediatric patients
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Coordinate nursing care and set clear priorities
• Teach illness prevention and health maintenance concepts
• Participate in quality improvement and risk management initiatives
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current registration with BCCNM
• Two years of recent relevant clinical nursing experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in pediatric nursing standards and practices
